Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a free update for the video game Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections. The update adds Nanashi Uchiha, a character from the game’s original story mode, as a playable character.

Alongside the character addition, the update introduces combat balance adjustments affecting mechanics such as guard durability, Ninja Dash, and Chakra Dash. It also implements new gameplay content, including the return of Ninja Battles, Proficiency Events to assist player progression, and Special Challenges that offer new titles. 

Further updates are planned, with new online features expected in the winter and an additional playable character anticipated in the spring.
