Neoenergia Cosern has announced a series of partial road closures on Avenida Dr. João Medeiros Filho in the North Zone of Natal to facilitate energy infrastructure improvements.

Initial scheduled closures were set for August 19 through August 23 to support the construction of a new transmission line. Subsequent updates indicate further closures will occur between August 24 and August 27. The project involves the installation of 78 concrete poles for a new 6.5-kilometer transmission line intended to strengthen the electrical supply for the region and support the Potengi Substation. 

While traffic will be redirected to alternative routes or different lanes during these interventions, the utility company has stated that there will be no interruption to the electricity supply for residents during the construction.
