Mexican singer Natalia Lafourcade and musician Carlos Santana released a collaborative single titled ‘Hermano’. Produced by Edgar Barrera, the track blends Santana’s electric guitar style with Mexican folk roots, specifically the son jarocho genre.

Lafourcade described the song as a reflection on the current social and emotional state of humanity, addressing a perceived loss of unity and connection. The lyrics aim to promote empathy, reconciliation, and peace, drawing parallels between human violence and the damage inflicted upon the planet, or ‘Mother Earth.’
