The National Theatre Bitola has been touring its modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘Coriolanus’ across Europe. Directed and adapted by John Blondel, the production explores themes of power, political responsibility, and the connection between individuals and society.

Following a performance at the ‘Magical Nights in Butrint’ festival in Saranda, Albania, the theatre is scheduled to perform at the 10th anniversary of the ‘Direction East’ international theatre festival in Bialystok, Poland. The production, which has also appeared in Verona, Italy, and Ohrid, North Macedonia, serves as a cultural representation of Macedonian theatre.
