The 32nd Naturama fair has opened at the La Hípica fairgrounds in Cuenca, running from October 2 to 4. The event features 53 exhibitors from over twenty provinces and integrates hunting and fishing sectors, which organizers state are “closely linked to the local reality of the Cuenca province.” To support the expanded scope, the Diputación de Cuenca increased the budget to nearly 167,000 euros. This edition introduces the ‘NATURAMA Suena’ musical program, featuring evening performances by artists such as Paco Candela, Alma de Rumba, El Momento Perfecto, and the local group INDINEO. President Álvaro Martínez Chana noted that the previous edition attracted approximately 19,000 visitors and generated nearly 65,000 euros in business. During the inauguration, the Diputación de Cuenca also announced plans to increase its 2027 budget to one million euros—doubling the previous 500,000 euro allocation—specifically to combat agricultural damage caused by rabbit overpopulation. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-01: Cuenca agricultural fairs open with increased funding for rabbit control Agricultural fairs Naturama and FERAGA are underway in Cuenca, Spain, featuring over 90 combined exhibitors.
