Reports indicate that Naughty Dog is in the early stages of developing a new installment in the Uncharted action-adventure series. Industry insiders and outlets such as MP1st suggest the project is an entirely new entry rather than a remake or remaster.

Shaun Escayg, the creative director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is reportedly leading the development. While the role of series protagonist Nathan Drake remains unconfirmed, reports suggest he may return in some capacity, though potentially not as the sole lead character. Speculation has also surfaced regarding whether his daughter, Cassie Drake, might take a leading role.

Development of this title is expected to follow the completion of the studio’s upcoming sci-fi project, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Neither Sony nor Naughty Dog has officially confirmed these reports.
