The Milwaukee Bucks signed forward Johni Broome to a training camp deal. To create roster space for Broome, the team waived center John Butler Jr., who is expected to rejoin the Wisconsin Herd.

Broome, a 24-year-old 6-foot-10 forward, was the 35th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He joins Milwaukee on what is believed to be a non-guaranteed contract following previous stints with the 76ers, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Delaware Blue Coats in the NBA G League.
