The NBA is transitioning into the preseason and training camp phase. Initially, the league focused on Media Day events for most teams and the commencement of practices, with some clubs like Houston and Dallas holding early media events due to international travel.

As the period progressed, the focus shifted toward critical roster and contract deadlines in October. Teams are working to finalize regular season rosters and manage non-guaranteed contracts. This period also marks significant organizational changes, such as the Milwaukee Bucks entering a new era following the departure of Giannis Antetokounmpo and focusing on rookie additions Brayden Burries and Nate Ament.
