The NC State Wolfpack football team has secured consecutive victories following early season losses.

In their first major win, NC State defeated Richmond 73-0. The game was marked by a 90-minute lightning delay and a shortened fourth quarter due to the scoring margin. Duke Scott and CJ Bailey led the offense, with Scott recording two rushing touchdowns and Bailey contributing both passing and rushing scores.

NC State followed this with a 41-31 win against Appalachian State. Despite losing a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter after an interception and a successful onside kick by Appalachian State, the Wolfpack reclaimed the lead through a 75-yard drive finished by a Duke Scott touchdown and a late field goal.
