The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has expanded its technological initiatives from educational infrastructure to specialized professional training.

In July 2026, the NCDMB commissioned a state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre at Ika Comprehensive High School in Akwa Ibom State. By August 2026, the NCDMB shifted focus toward national security by sponsoring Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital skills training for instructors within the Nigeria Police Force. This Training-of-Trainers Programme, held in Lagos and Abuja, focuses on cybercrime management, data-driven intelligence, and digital forensics. The initiative seeks to modernize law enforcement to address technology-enabled security threats and protect critical infrastructure.
