In Nea Smyrni, Athens, authorities are investigating a premeditated murder-suicide involving 48-year-old Altin Allmuça and his 45-year-old former partner, Luljeta Obzova. The incident occurred early on a Sunday morning when Allmuça allegedly waited at Obzova’s apartment building. 

Security footage and forensic examinations indicate that Allmuça entered the building behind the victim and attacked her, causing her to fall. Following a brief struggle, he used an illegal revolver to shoot Obzova once in the head before turning the weapon on himself. 

Investigators believe the motive may be pathological jealousy. Obzova’s family stated she had been living in fear and had recently changed her locks due to Allmuça’s unauthorized entries. His wife also testified to significant behavioral changes in him over the previous 18 months. While no recent domestic violence reports were filed with Greek authorities, Allmuça reportedly had a history of harassment and stalking in Albania, including an arrest in 2016.

Police are currently analyzing digital evidence, including mobile phones and electronic devices, alongside security footage to reconstruct the events leading up to the tragedy.
