Portuguese center Neemias Queta has reached several personal milestones during the Boston Celtics season. In a victory against the New York Knicks, Queta recorded his first three-pointer of the season, which was only the second successful three-pointer of his NBA career. The 27-year-old, the first Portuguese player in NBA history, has worked with player development staff to expand his offensive range and noted that the successful shot provided a boost in confidence.

Following this, Queta earned his first start of the season in a 108-97 win against Orlando, where he played 27 minutes and contributed eight points and nine rebounds. He earned another start in a subsequent game against the Houston Rockets. Although the Celtics lost 109-93, Queta recorded 16 points, six rebounds, and one assist in 26 minutes, making him the team's second-highest scorer in that matchup behind Jayson Tatum.
