NeOnc Technologies Holdings announced plans to present topline results from the Phase 2a portion of its NEO100-01 clinical trial, which evaluates the safety and efficacy of intranasal NEO100 in patients with recurrent or progressive Grade III and Grade IV IDH1-mutant glioma.

Following the announcement, the company reported positive Phase 2a data, noting a 48.9% six-month progression-free survival rate, which exceeded the prespecified historical benchmark of 20%. The reported median overall survival was 26.09 months. 

NEO100 utilizes a non-invasive nose-to-brain delivery method intended to overcome the blood-brain barrier. The drug holds FDA Orphan Drug, Fast Track, and Rare Pediatric Disease designations.
