Netflix has released promotional footage for an upcoming animated fantasy-comedy scheduled for global release on November 20. The film, referred to as both ‘Hermanastras’ and ‘Steps’, provides a reimagined perspective of the Cinderella fairy tale through the eyes of the stepsisters, Lilith and Margot.

The narrative follows the sisters after they steal the Fairy Godmother’s magic wand and hijack the Royal Ball, an event that inadvertently allows a villainous character named Priscilla to attempt to seize the throne. To restore order, Lilith must form an unlikely alliance with Cinderella and a troll.

The production features a voice cast including Ali Wong as Lilith, Stephanie Hsu as Margot, Amanda Seyfried as Cinderella, Bette Midler as the Fairy Godmother, and Nikki Glaser as Priscilla. Other cast members include Daniel Radcliffe and Peter Dinklage.
