The Netflix documentary ‘Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald’, produced by Judd Apatow, examines the life and career of the late comedian. The film utilizes archival footage, personal photos, and home videos to trace his professional journey, including his tenure as a ‘Weekend Update’ anchor on Saturday Night Live and his appearances on various late-night programs.

Narrated by Macdonald himself using archival clips and excerpts from his audiobook, ‘Based On a True Story’, the documentary highlights his unique comedic style, characterized by deadpan delivery, long-form stories, and abrupt punchlines.
