Netflix is expanding its Dutch content offerings through both licensing partnerships and original productions. In late August 2026, Netflix and Talpa announced a partnership to bring over 300 episodes of SBS6 programs to the streaming platform, including titles such as ‘Chateau Meiland’ and ‘Overtreders’.

Following this expansion of existing non-fiction content, Netflix announced the launch of a Dutch version of the reality dating series ‘Love is Blind’. The production features thirty singles participating in a social experiment centered on emotional connection through conversation before meeting face-to-face.
