Netflix has postponed the release of its three-part documentary series, ‘Hunting Gary Glitter’, which was originally scheduled to debut on October 14. The streaming service stated the decision to pause the release follows the discovery of “new legal information” regarding the subject, though specific details have not been disclosed.

The docu-series, produced by Voltage TV, was intended to chronicle the career and criminal history of former pop star Paul Gadd, also known as Gary Glitter, including his 1997 conviction and his time as a fugitive.

The postponement coincides with new legal proceedings in London. Gadd recently pleaded not guilty to eight additional allegations of sexual abuse involving a child. A trial regarding these new charges is expected to take place next year.
