Netflix has released ‘Hollywood Arts’, a twelve-episode spin-off of the Nickelodeon sitcom ‘Victorious’. The series features the return of Daniella Monet as Trina Vega, who serves as a substitute teacher at her former performing arts school, and Matt Bennett as Robbie.

While the original lead, Victoria Justice, does not appear, the show establishes that her character is now an internationally famous pop star. The production notably proceeds without the involvement of original creator Dan Schneider following recent public controversies regarding the Nickelodeon work environment.

Monet described an intensive casting process involving over 5,700 submissions to assemble the new ensemble. The series explores new dynamics between the returning characters, noting that Robbie’s character has moved to New Zealand for work.
