The billiards season in the Netherlands transitioned from the conclusion of local championships to the start of new regional competitions.

In late August, championships concluded at clubs such as BV Vriendenkring in Bergharen, where Theo van Hout won the third edition of the libre club championship, and De Merel/Thijmen van Veen Waterwerken in Vinkeveen, where Walter van Kouwen secured the 2025-2026 title.

By mid-September, the 2026/2027 season commenced. In the KNBB District Nijmegen, BV Vriendenkring began its national cadre competition with a victory over De Treffers. Simultaneously, competition launched in De Ronde Venen with 14 teams and 93 players, including a successful opening night for the reigning champions, De Merel 1.
