Netmarble has implemented several content updates for its mobile RPG, The King of Fighters AFK.

In August, the developer introduced new fighters Ash Crimson and Zero (Clone), alongside various limited-time events such as the Tropical Island and Lucky Elpy events. 

By September, the game transitioned into its first anniversary celebration. This update included a new version of Iori Yagami featuring a KOF XIII style, a doubled summon rate for the character, and a Terry Bogard rerun event. Additional anniversary activities include a player survey, the Fighters Festa, and a new mini-game titled ‘Shaky Shaky Cake’.
