The Government of Neuquén has launched a Provincial Fishing Plan featuring a specialized training program for fly fishing instructors. Developed with the Instituto Superior de Estudios Interdisciplinarios (ISEI), the two-month hybrid program offers modules on casting techniques, pedagogy, and error detection to residents over 18.

Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture Josefina Codermatz noted the program responds to high demand for specialized training. The initiative aims to create labor opportunities and strengthen the connection between sports fishing, tourism, and natural resource preservation, with the goal of establishing a national reference school for fly fishing.
