During the summer and autumn of 2026, several new dining and retail establishments opened across various locations in Japan.

In July and August, the Kintetsu Department Store in Kusatsu expanded its first-floor deli section with the addition of “Osozai no Matsuoka,” which offers regional specialties, and “Yakitori Nipponichi,” a shop specializing in grilled skewers and fried chicken. 

In September, further openings were scheduled, including the Parkside Cafe in Joetsu City, which serves bagels and coffee while functioning as a management office for Joetsu Mirai Park. Additionally, Kanpeki Bakushu Hanten was set to open in Shin-Yokohama, offering a Chinese tavern concept with a menu designed to pair with beer.
