The New England Revolution secured a berth in the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs following a 3-2 victory against FC Cincinnati. During that match, Dor Turgeman scored twice, while Carles Gil became the first player in MLS history to record at least 10 assists in six consecutive seasons. Joshua Wynder also contributed a goal and an assist, including a 43rd-minute header, while goalkeeper Matt Turner recorded eight saves.

Following their postseason qualification and a period of winning form, the Revolution faced the Philadelphia Union at Subaru Park. In that matchup, New England ended the Union’s club-record 15-match unbeaten streak with a 2-1 victory. Dor Turgeman scored in first-half stoppage time following an assist from Carles Gil and Peyton Miller, and Gil later converted a penalty in the first minute of second-half stoppage time after being fouled by Neil Pierre. Although Neil Pierre scored a late consolation goal for Philadelphia, the Revolution secured the win despite six saves from goalkeeper Andre Blake. This victory marked New England’s third consecutive win and their second win in a season sweep of the Union, moving them into second place in the Eastern Conference, overtaking Inter Miami on tiebreakers.

New England extended their momentum with a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field. Leo Campana opened the scoring in the 25th minute following an assist from Carles Gil, which marked Gil’s tenth assist of the season. Ignatius Ganago doubled the lead in the 39th minute. Despite a second-half goal from Dániel Gazdag, the Revolution secured their first win in Columbus since 2012.
