A fisherman and captain aboard the vessel ‘Out of Line’ set a new New Hampshire state record by catching a 506-kilogram bluefin tuna during a night fishing trip.

The catch exceeded the previous state record of 436 kilograms, established in 2013, by 70 kilograms. Following a chase of approximately 1.6 kilometers, the high-quality fish is expected to be sold in the Japanese market, while its tail will be kept at the local port as a symbol of the achievement.
