New literary works have been released by several Spanish authors. 

In mid-September, Bea Ruiz Valverde published ‘Inmundo’, a horror novel set in Almería during the transition from the 19th to the 20th century. Concurrently, Ginés Sánchez released ‘La extraña enfermedad de Bryan Macías’, a young adult mystery exploring identity and physical transformation.

Later in the month, Roberta Recchia published ‘Yo que te he querido tanto’, a novel exploring the social consequences of crime and inherited guilt, which was awarded the Giunti booksellers' prize. Rosa Montero also released a new work, ‘Un día en la vida de Clarita’, a contemporary fable regarding a bank employee’s transition into retirement and personal reinvention.
