The New Taipei City Green Life Music Festival returned in September 2026 after a four-year hiatus. Held at the New Taipei City Museum of Fine Arts, the event was themed ‘Music connects generations, culture continues the heritage’. 

The festival featured two main areas: the ‘GREEN STAGE’, focusing on classic vocals, and the ‘ROOT STAGE’, showcasing emerging talent. Performers included Japanese singer Yo Hitoto, who headlined the first day and performed the Taiwanese classic ‘Rainy Night Flower’, as well as various classic and new-generation artists. 

On the opening day, the event drew over 10,000 attendees. New Taipei City Mayor Hou Yu-ih attended the festival, noting that the venue choice aims to connect art and urban space with local life, while citing improved transportation as a benefit for cultural tourism in the area.
