New York Comic Con 2026 served as a platform for various major announcements across the anime, comic, and television industries.

In the anime sector, a trailer was released for ‘NARUTO x NINKU’, a four-episode crossover project intended as a tribute to Koji Kiriyama’s ‘Ninku’. Additionally, a new trailer for the third season of ‘One Punch Man’ was showcased, with the second part of the season scheduled for a January 2027 release. The trailer has drawn some criticism regarding animation quality compared to previous studio work.

DC Comics revealed a 2027 project slate spanning its Black Label, Vertigo, and Absolute lines, including ‘Green Lantern: Dying of the Light’ and ‘Absolute Justice’. In television, AMC provided updates on the third season of ‘Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches’, noting a new setting in Salem, Massachusetts, and a shift toward a more empowered portrayal of the protagonist.
