The New York Giants improved to 2-1 following a 12-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans at MetLife Stadium. In a rainy and windy matchup, the Giants' offense relied on veteran Jameis Winston, who completed 12 of 18 passes for 117 yards, and rookie kicker Dominic Zvada, who converted four field goals.

Following concerns regarding a knee injury sustained during the fourth quarter, it has been confirmed that star pass-rusher Brian Burns has suffered a torn ACL. Burns has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season after only three games. The injury to the three-time Pro Bowl selection compounds the loss of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who remains out for the season due to a meniscus injury.

To manage these roster challenges, the Giants have signed wide receivers Braxton Berrios and Charlie Jones. On the defensive side, the pass rush is expected to rely more heavily on veteran Kayvon Thibodeaux and second-year player Abdul Carter to fill the void left by Burns. The Titans remain winless at 0-3.
