The New York Rangers extended their winning streak to four games with a 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders. The win was led by Alexis Lafrenière, who recorded a hat trick and an assist, helping the Rangers take the lead in the Metropolitan Division.

Despite the momentum, the team continues to manage roster setbacks. Center Joe Veleno remains on injured reserve following the lower-body injury sustained during a collision with Utah’s Clayton Keller.
