Following a prolonged contract dispute with their agency, ADOR, members of the K-pop group NewJeans have begun resuming individual public activities. 

In mid-August 2026, member Haerin commenced solo activities by appearing on the cover of Marie Claire Korea for a photoshoot titled ‘The First Bloom’ in collaboration with Dior Beauty. Shortly thereafter, member Hyein was announced to feature on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Korea in collaboration with Bottega Veneta.

While these editorial projects signal a progressive return to visibility for members such as Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni, they do not confirm a scheduled musical comeback for the group. Additionally, while Danielle has left the group following contract termination, the status of member Minji remains subject to ongoing discussions.
