NexGen Energy has initiated construction on the Rook I uranium mining project in Saskatchewan, Canada. The project aims for an annual production of approximately 30 million pounds of uranium concentrate and is being developed amid rising global demand for nuclear energy. In addition to the Rook I construction, NexGen has reported significant expansion of high-grade uranium mineralization at its Patterson Corridor East (PCE) discovery in the Athabasca Basin. Recent drilling has extended the high-grade zone vertically by 94 metres, reaching a total vertical extent of 644 metres.
