The game was decided by a 57-yard field goal by Cam Little as time expired, following a kickoff return by Ameer Abdullah that left only one second remaining. The loss dropped the Eagles to a 2-3 record, marking their third consecutive defeat. The team struggled with offensive production and failed to score a touchdown in the second half. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni took responsibility for the outcome, stating, ‘I didn't make the right decision, and it cost us the game,’ in reference to his decision to kick the final kickoff rather than aiming for a touchback. Following the game, quarterback Jalen Hurts addressed performance concerns, stating, ‘I can’t give any promises on anything. Honestly my words don’t really mean anything. It’s about what we go out there and do.’ The victory improved the Jaguars' record to 4-1, placing them among the top-ranked teams in the AFC. Following the win, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence noted that the atmosphere in London felt more supportive of Philadelphia than Jacksonville, despite the game being a designated home showcase for the Jaguars. The win has subsequently boosted the Jaguars' standing in national power rankings, with outlets such as ESPN and Sports Illustrated placing them in the top five. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-13: Jacksonville Jaguars defeat Philadelphia Eagles in London The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 at Wembley Stadium in London, led by a last-second 57-yard field goal from Cam Little to improve to 4-1. 6 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jacksonville-jaguars-defeat-philadelphia-eagles-19-17-in-london-1 ### 2026-10-11: NFL London Games feature Eagles loss and Colts fan activations The Philadelphia Eagles suffered their third straight loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the NFL London Games, while the Indianapolis Colts engaged in fan activations in London. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/nfl-london-games-feature-eagles-loss-and-colts-fan-activations --- Cite as: NFL London Games Philadelphia Eagles vs Jacksonville Jaguars.
