Developments: 3. The Philadelphia Eagles enter their Week 7 Monday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys facing significant roster depletion. Following a 25-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers that dropped them to 2-4, the Eagles remain without star quarterback Jalen Hurts, who was ruled out for the season due to blood clots in his lungs. Backup Tanner McKee is expected to make his second start. The injury list extends to the receiving corps, with wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks ruled out. While uncertainty previously surrounded running back Saquon Barkley, he is now expected to return from a hamstring injury. On a positive note, the offensive line receives a boost with the return of guard Landon Dickerson from injured reserve. The Cowboys also enter the contest with 2-4 records after two consecutive losses, including a recent defeat to the Green Bay Packers and a loss to the Buccaneers. While Dallas continues to rely on Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, the team has struggled with turnovers and is looking for improved production from the running game, specifically from Javonte Williams. The matchup carries weight for the NFC East standings, as the New York Giants currently lead the division at 4-2. Betting markets have positioned the Cowboys as favorites for the contest at Lincoln Financial Field. In the Week 7 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys secured a 38-21 victory, improving their record to 3-4. Dak Prescott threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, while Javonte Williams recorded a career-high 155 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Eagles fell to 2-5 following their fifth consecutive loss. Tanner McKee completed 23 of 35 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during the contest. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-25: Dallas Cowboys defeat Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday Night Football, led by Dak Prescott's three touchdowns and Javonte Williams' career-high 155 rushing yards. 42 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/philadelphia-eagles-and-dallas-cowboys-face-off-in-week-7 ### 2026-10-18: Carolina Panthers defeat Philadelphia Eagles 25-14 The Carolina Panthers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 25-14, led by Bryce Young's two touchdown passes.
