Following a season where he recorded 16 wins and two shutouts, Ingram reportedly sought to re-sign with Edmonton, but the organization opted to acquire Devon Levi and Frederik Andersen instead. Analysts have identified Ingram as one of the best available free agents, with potential destinations including the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Ottawa Senators.

In addition to Ingram, 38-year-old forward James Van Riemsdyk, who most recently played for the Detroit Red Wings, has also yet to secure a contract for the upcoming season.
