Nicki Minaj has increasingly aligned herself with Donald Trump through public appearances and commentary. During the premiere of the SBA-produced business competition ‘Million Dollar Pitch’, Trump referred to Minaj as his ‘favorite’ person, noting she has been with him for a long time.

Following this, Minaj appeared at a political rally in Port Huron, Michigan, to express support for Trump. During her speech, she addressed gender identity, stating that she, Trump, and the Republican party would fight to prevent children from being “bombarded by images of gender changes.” These comments resulted in accusations of transphobia from transgender community activists.
