This digital transformation includes the use of core banking software, mobile platforms, and an electronic wallet system that allows officials to “load five bags of fertilizer on someone’s account, on his wallet.” Building on these technological shifts, the BoA has expanded its scope through partnerships aimed at poverty reduction.
