Nigerian lawmakers have initiated various water infrastructure projects to improve access to potable water within their constituencies. 

In Kogi State, Hon. Zakari Yusuf Eneve of the Kogi State House of Assembly began rehabilitating boreholes in the Okene II Constituency, specifically targeting the Abuga, Irayapana, and Arigo communities. This project involves repairing overhead storage tanks and providing submersible pumps to address water shortages. 

In Lagos State, Hon. Richard Kasunmu of the Lagos State House of Assembly donated boreholes to four communities in the Ikeja 2 Constituency: Ojodu, Yakoyo, Ipodo Street, and Anifowose. As part of the ARK Community Water Initiative (ACWI), these projects include 2.5KVA generators to maintain functionality during power outages, aiming to support sanitation and poverty eradication goals.
