Speculation has emerged regarding veteran basketball player Nikola Mirotić potentially signing with the Montenegrin club Budućnost Voli. Initial reports offered conflicting accounts of the situation: ‘BPG info’ claimed a verbal agreement had been reached, while Sport Klub suggested that while interest and a proposal were real, no definitive agreement existed.

Dragan Bokan, president of Budućnost Voli and head of the Basketball Federation of Montenegro, later addressed the rumors. Bokan confirmed a private meeting took place with Mirotić but clarified that no formal offers or contract negotiations occurred during the discussion. Bokan stated that the club and the national team remain open to Mirotić, though the player reportedly indicated his primary interest remains the EuroLeague.
