New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) has begun formalizing its lineup for the Power Struggle event on November 3 in Hiroshima, following the King of Pro-Wrestling 2026 event. The upcoming show will feature several major crossover matches involving talent from All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

At King of Pro-Wrestling, Yota Tsuji successfully defended the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Ryohei Oiwa in a match lasting over 35 minutes. Following the bout, AEW star Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance, attacking both Tsuji and Oleg Boltin. Omega issued a challenge for a non-title triple threat match at Power Struggle, stipulating that a victory would grant him a future shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. In comments to Tokyo Sports, Omega criticized Tsuji, claiming the champion is “scared of failing on the world stage,” while Tsuji responded that he would only defend the title within Japan.

Other confirmed matches for Power Struggle include:

• IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: Gabe Kidd defends against TAICHI.

• IWGP Tag Team Championships: Will Ospreay and Callum Newman will challenge the Knockout Bros. This follows Ospreay’s loss of the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship to Unbound Co. (Jeff Cobb, Yuto-Ice, and OSKAR) due to Newman’s interference.

• Six-man tag team action: Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta will represent AEW against the team of Shingo Takagi and Jeff Cobb. This follows a video challenge from Moxley to Takagi, which has led to speculation regarding a potential Wrestle Kingdom 21 bout.
