In Tunisia, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries released a decree setting specific dates and quotas for small and large game. The regulations include strict protections for rare mammals, such as the Barbary stag and cheetah, as well as various birds of prey. Small game hunting is restricted to Sundays and holidays, while large game hunting periods vary by region. In Morocco, the National Agency for Water and Forests and the Royal Moroccan Hunting Federation launched the season in Marrakech under the theme ‘Tourist Hunting in Morocco: A Natural Wealth and Sustainable Development’. The initiative seeks to align hunting activities with the ‘Forests of Morocco 2020-2030’ strategy.
