The North Atlantic bomb cyclone has intensified, with central pressure dropping to approximately 950 millibars. The system is now bringing severe weather to the British Isles, Ireland, and Iceland, characterized by hurricane-force winds reaching up to 150 km/h and massive waves as high as 12 meters.

In the UK and Ireland, the storm is expected to cause gale-force winds, heavy rainfall, and potential travel disruptions. Although the core of the system is forecast to remain largely offshore, coastal areas remain at risk of flooding due to the combination of rough seas and spring tides.

On the storm’s periphery, the system is drawing warm air northward into southern France, resulting in unusually high temperatures above 20°C alongside heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, a high-pressure system over Central Europe and the Balkans is expected to act as a block, preventing the cyclone’s effects from reaching regions such as Serbia.
