Economic cooperation efforts between Northern Cyprus and Türkiye have expanded from agricultural initiatives to broader industrial sectors.

In early October, a delegation from the International Confederation of Agriculture and Food (TARIMKON) visited Northern Cyprus to discuss enhancing agricultural efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness. The mission involved meetings with the Presidency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and various industry associations to explore investment opportunities and modern technological implementation.

Following these visits, the Cyprus Turkish Businessmen Association (İŞAD) held strategic meetings in Ankara to further strengthen economic ties. While continuing discussions on agricultural joint projects with TARIMKON, the focus expanded to include the defense and aerospace sectors. Discussions with the OSTİM Defense and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA) addressed potential technology investments and joint production projects, with plans for an OSTİM delegation to visit Northern Cyprus.
