The Northern Michigan University (NMU) volleyball team has experienced a period of competitive play and recent success.

In late September, the Wildcats defeated Michigan Tech in a five-set match at Vandament Arena, with Kaylie McIntosh recording a career-high 28 kills.

By early October, the team established a three-match winning streak. This streak included a sweep of Lake Superior State, a victory over Parkside, and a 3-1 win against the Davenport Panthers, which resulted in Davenport’s first home loss of the season.
