Sources: 8. Developments: 3. Australian metalcore band Northlane is facing delays regarding the release of their seventh studio album, ‘Anemoia’. Originally scheduled for October 30, the album release has been pushed to November 27, 2026, due to production delays. In addition to the album postponement, the band has rescheduled their upcoming Oceania tour dates in Australia and New Zealand to May 2027. This decision stems from the worsening of chronic health issues experienced by guitarist Josh Smith, which has prevented him from traveling or performing. While the Oceania dates are moved, Northlane’s scheduled performances in the United Kingdom and Europe remain unchanged, including a December 8 show in Paris. The previously announced 2027 North American tour also remains on the schedule. To bridge the gap during these delays, the band has released a new single titled ‘Deathwish’. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-21: Northlane postpones new album and Oceania tour Northlane has delayed their album ‘Anemoia’ to November 2026 and rescheduled Oceania tour dates to 2027 due to guitarist Josh Smith’s health issues. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/northlane-postpones-new-album-and-oceania-tour ### 2026-09-29: Northlane announces 2027 North American tour dates Northlane has announced a 2027 North American tour featuring Allt, Aviana, and Reliqa to support their upcoming album, ‘Anemoia’. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/northlane-announces-2027-north-american-tour-dates ### 2026-09-22: Northlane releases ‘Crucified’ single ahead of new album Australian metalcore band Northlane has released ‘Crucified’, a new single from their upcoming album ‘Anemoia’ that explores the breakdown of civil discourse and social polarization. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/northlane-releases-crucified-single-ahead-of-new-album --- Cite as: Northlane album delay and tour rescheduling.
