In mid October, the club suffered a 1-0 away defeat against Southampton at Carrow Road, marking their fourth consecutive league loss. At that time, the team sat in 18th place and faced significant injury concerns regarding key players such as Mohamed Toure and Kenny McLean. By late October, the club demonstrated a turnaround in momentum. Norwich secured a 3-2 comeback victory against Watford at Carrow Road, overcoming a 0-2 halftime deficit. This win was part of a six-match winning streak that moved the club toward the mid-table. In the match against Watford, Myron Boadu scored twice for the visitors in the 10th and 27th minutes. Norwich responded in the second half through goals from Benjamin Chrisene, Anthony Musaba, and Paris Maghoma, with Darlin Yongwa adding a late goal to secure the win. Following the fixture, Norwich manager Philippe Clement praised the players' mentality, stating the comeback demonstrated the “unity and fighting spirit of the squad.” ## Timeline ### 2026-10-31: Norwich City secures 3-2 comeback victory over Watford Norwich City overcame a two-goal halftime deficit to defeat Watford 3-2 in the Championship, fueled by second-half goals from Chrisene, Musaba, and Maghoma. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/norwich-city-secures-3-2-comeback-victory-against-watford ### 2026-10-13: Southampton defeat Norwich City 1-0 in Championship away win Southampton defeated Norwich City 1-0 at Carrow Road thanks to a Kuryu Matsuki goal, marking their first away win of the Championship season while Norwich continues a four-game losing streak. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/southampton-defeat-norwich-city-1-0-in-championship-clash --- Cite as: Norwich City football performance trends.
