These works are part of a £181.25 million highways maintenance programme focused on resurfacing, preventative maintenance, and targeted repairs to extend the lifespan of the road network. Planned projects include resurfacing on the A60 Mansfield Road and Killisick Road in Arnold, as well as improvements to Victoria Road in Netherfield. Patching works are also scheduled for Marhill Road, Primrose Street, and Crow Hill Road in Carlton, alongside repairs on Conway Crescent and Silverwood Avenue in Ravenshead. These activities are causing significant bus diversions for NCT and Trentbarton services. Commuters face disruptions in West Bridgford, Arnold, and Carlton. Additionally, temporary arrangements persist in Nottingham city centre due to ongoing demolition works on Maid Marian Way, affecting various Orange and Turquoise bus routes. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-04: Nottinghamshire roadworks and bus diversions scheduled for October Nottinghamshire County Council is conducting major road repairs in Gedling this October, causing significant bus diversions in Arnold, Carlton, and West Bridgford. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/nottinghamshire-roadworks-and-bus-diversions-scheduled-for-october ### 2026-09-25: Infrastructure works cause transport disruptions in Malaga and Nottingham Infrastructure developments and roadworks in Malaga and Nottingham are causing traffic diversions and significant bus service disruptions. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/infrastructure-works-cause-transport-disruptions-in-malaga-and-nottingham --- Cite as: Nottinghamshire roadworks and transport disruptions.
