This initiative, part of the Resilient Environment Program, is a collaboration between the Rio de Janeiro State Secretariat for Environment and Sustainability and UN-Habitat. The workshop aims to facilitate dialogue to identify municipal vulnerabilities, challenges, and priorities to create territory-specific planning for reducing climate change impacts. The findings will inform a municipal climate diagnosis, which will lead to a subsequent workshop in November. The finalization of the climate action plan is projected for 2027.
