Néstor Camacho, a striker for Sportivo Trinidense, has progressed toward the all-time scoring record in the Paraguayan First Division.

In mid-September, Camacho reached 149 career goals following a victory against Recoleta FC. At that time, he was noted as being 11 goals away from the historical record held by Santiago Salcedo.

By early October, Camacho scored a penalty goal during a 3-2 win against Sportivo Luqueño, marking his 150th career goal in Paraguayan football. This achievement leaves him 11 goals away from surpassing Salcedo to become the country’s all-time leading scorer.
