The Independent Self-Governing Trade Union of Police (NSZZ Policjantów) has engaged in various social and professional initiatives. In September 2026, the Mielce local branch organized an integration trip to the Slovak Paradise and Pieniny Mountains to strengthen relationships among officers and their families.

By October 2026, the union expanded its focus to include social engagement and legal advocacy. Members in Szczecin participated in a visit to the ‘Wesoła Chatka’ facility to distribute gifts to children. Concurrently, union representative Waldemar Żurek has called for increased involvement from the National Prosecutor to protect officers against defamation and the unauthorized use of their images in digital spaces.
