Vietnamese electric motorcycle manufacturer Nuen Moto has undergone a strategic shift in its product development. The company officially suspended its Nuen N1-S project, a high-performance “super” electric motorcycle that had previously faced delivery delays. Nuen Moto reported that it has nearly finished refunding deposits to customers who pre-ordered the N1-S.

Following this suspension, Nuen Moto unveiled a new project called the Volty U1. This new model marks a transition toward the transport and ride-hailing sectors. The Volty U1 is described as a modular, minimalist utility vehicle featuring two removable, swappable battery packs with a combined range of approximately 160 km. The vehicle is designed to be compatible with various battery types, with potential integration into the Selex battery-swapping ecosystem.
